Digital lenses

Many people spend an average of 8-10 hours a day looking at digital screens. This can cause digital eye strain. Symptoms can present themselves in only two hours and may include irritated eyes, blurred vision and headaches.

A solution is the relaxing power of Hoya’s enhanced single vision lenses which are specifically designed to relieve digital eye strain. This is ideal for people who spend two or more hours a day focusing on digital screens. It is also beneficial to people focused on near sighted tasks.

These lenses work by including a ‘boost zone’ at the bottom of the lens, optimised for the way we use our eyes today. The boost zone has a slightly increased power, which helps the eye muscles to relax and focus more easily, enhancing visual comfort during prolonged screen time.

This can relieve eye strain and result in greater visual comfort throughout the day
